Hello, everybody!

As of today, PDFsharp 6.0.0-preview-3 is available.

You can find the source code on github.com:
https://github.com/empira/PDFsharp

You can find binaries (assemblies) on NuGet. Make sure to check "Include prerelease" in the NuGet Package Manager.

Note: On NuGet there are Core, GDI, and WPF packages.

The six new preview NuGet packages:

Samples can be found on GitHub:
https://github.com/empira/PDFsharp.Samples

Changes versus PDFsharp 1.5:
  • Uses .NET 6.0
  • Core build can be used under Windows, Linux, and all other platforms where .NET 6 is running on.
  • MigraDoc table rendering got faster again.

Changes since 6.0.0 Preview 2:
  • Several bug fixes

Note that there is only one source code repository containing PDFsharp and MigraDoc.
Note that there is only one sample repository containing PDFsharp and MigraDoc samples.

New PDFsharp website http://docs.pdfsharp.net

List of breaking changes:
https://docs.pdfsharp.net/General/Overv ... ng-changes

Please report all regressions versus 1.51.
Several bugs have been fixed - and hopefully there are no new bugs.

Hi there! I'm using PdfSharp.dll version 1.51.5185.0 in Delphi. My application stopped working after the latest Windows 11 updates. I was hoping the preview-3 may fix it, but I don't know how to compile a DLL, much less in .NET environment. Can you please send me a download link for the library compiled for 64 bit Windows 10/11 ?
Thank you.

The only binaries we have published are here:
The six new preview NuGet packages:
The ".nupkg" are renamed ZIP files. Change the extension to ".zip" to unpack them manually and get the DLLs.

The source is on GitHub and can be compiled with the Community Edition of Visual Studio if you need binaries compiled with different parameters.

OK. It looks like PDFSharp is now hosted at Github. That's not entirely clear at http://pdfsharp.net/Downloads.ashx , and the link to the new project (docs.pdfsharp.net) doesn't emphasize that fact either. That's why I didn't see newer commits and such.

Hi everyone, we are very excited about PDFsharp 6.0.0 and look forward to using it! Is there already an estimation when there will be a release/stable version for it?

Thanks and best regards,
Florian

That depends on the feedback we receive about the preview versions.
