Hi all,

I am just wondering it is possible to add an image that is in binary format into the output PDF in MigraDoc?

For example: All my images are saved into binary format (varbinary(MAX)) in MS SQL database. Therefore I don't have any physical path of the image on the server. The only example on the MigraDoc website regarding to add image is through the image's physical path, e.g. (section.AddImage("../../SomeImage.png");)

So my question is that it is possible to add images in "byte array"/"binary" format into the output PDF, without converting it into an actual image file, then save it on the server.

Any suggestion on this?
Thanks all.
William

Hi!

You can use those images with PDFsharp.

Someone implemented a routine that uses such images with MigraDoc - the change was published on this forum.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. Can you please point out the link of that post you have mentioned.

I have tried to search the forum with the keyword "Binary image", but it didn't found any useful post

Thank you.
